My Laser Tattoo Removal

Hi guys,

I’ve actually had quite a lot of people interested in this and I didn’t know whether I was going to share it or not just because my tattoo is so ugly but when I started getting it done, I had a good few messages from people about it.

Firstly let me start by talking about the ugly tattoo. I got this beauty when I was 16 years of age, behind my parents back being the rebel I was. I thought it was divine. I saw it on a footballer’s wife at the time and thought immediately I will look like her if I get this done. HOW WRONG WAS I…

I worked in Supervalu at the time and my pal who was quite creative at the time designed it in the canteen one evening. I immediately fell in love and needed it done immediately. I paid just €80 at the time for it and I thought all my Christmases came at once. It was stunning. NOT!!! Fast forward 13 years later, it’s vile, it’s faded and looks like a distorted moth on my left hip. I had been looking into getting it removed when I came across this cool new place called FADE on Grafton St.

FADE is on the bottom of Grafton St overlooking Trinity College. I popped in one day for a free consultation to see what they could do. I had no idea on pricing etc but I just knew I needed it GONE! In FADE, they use the most advanced Laser Tattoo Removal technology available which is called PicoSure®. This works more quickly than traditional laser tattoo removal therapies which I was delighted about. The sessions are so fast and you can be in and out within 10 minutes. You can then repeat them every 6 – 8 weeks depending on your tattoo size.

When you go in for your free consultation with one of their expert therapists, they will do up a treatment plan for you and tell you exactly how much it costs so there are no hidden charges etc. The prices vary depending on the size and type of tattoo you have, obviously more expensive the bigger the tattoo.

Since I started the process a few months ago, the main question I have been asked is… is it sore? I can confirm that it pinches yes but nothing that’s not unbearable. Aidan laughs at me every time I go in because I am a total wimp. So if I can do it, you can do it. They give you a stress ball to squeeze if needed and Aidan & Shauna are amazing. The treatment is done so quickly which is the best part. Here I am with Aidan before one of my sessions above

My treatment plan will consist of a minimum of 8 sessions so I’ve only done two so far. I’ll definitely do a blog post after the whole treatment to show you guys before and after. See below the progress so far:

The last image is only four days after my 2nd treatment so it needs a few more days of Aloe Vera and healing before it will fade some more. This will go down a lot now in the next week or so.

The photos really speak for themselves I think. You can see how faint it is going and this is just after two sessions. Imagine what it will be like after 8? AMAZING!

If you are like me and haven’t a breeze what to be getting for Christmas and if you know of someone looking into it, then you can get them a gift voucher here. It’s an expensive treatment so every little helps

They have a FAQ section on your website that you can check out here for more information.

You can book a Free Consultation here also.

Happy Removing!
